Hi NG!

I can't get the sign '' (ASCII 245) on a keyboard with a german layout.  
ALT-2-4-5 works, but bash and emacs won't show it by pressing <shift-3> as  
supposed.

set meta-flag on
set convert-meta off
set output-meta on
set input-meta on

are the essential settings of my ~/.inputrc.

Any hints?
