There are "hotfixes" available for it SP1 and SP2:
ftp://hotfix.microsoft.com/winnt/Windows_2000/sp1/ and
ftp://hotfix.microsoft.com/winnt/Windows_2000/sp2/

maybe these will help although I don't have Win2K to tell you if they
do...
