Thanks for the reply.

I managed to get LDPNG to compile and link properly
using DJGPP 2.8.1. and Allegro 3.1.2 and
the PNG/ZLIB 1.1.3 libraries!
and now I have a MS-DOS viewer for PNG files.

I just simply had to re-write a tiny bit of the LDPNG
lib...to work with Allegro 3.1.2... no sweat!
