Please take a look at Chapter 15 of the DJGPP FAQ list (v2/faq230b.zip 
from the same place you get DJGPP), it should answer all your questions
in this matter.

In a nutshell, there should be no problem using up to 128MB of memory in 
DJGPP programs, provided you set up your system accordingly (the FAQ 
explains how).
