Hi!

Here's my problem:
-> _ALL_ programs (exemples, demo, ...) compiled
with Microsoft Visual C++ stop with and error
saying that they can't select SAFE_MODE.

I'm using this:
-> Allegro 3.9.32 WIP
-> MSVC 6.0
-> DirectX 7.0a (DLL, LIBs, Headers, ...)

It compiles well, without errors or warnings.
I've done this to install it:
-> vcvars32.bat
-> fixmsvc.bat
-> make
-> make install

I've started by compiling Allegro 3.9.32 with
MSVC, but there where errors because I had old
DirectX LIBs and Headers. So, I downloaded the
DirectX SDK with the libs and headers. I copied
the libs in
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio\VC98\Lib
and the header files in
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio\VC98
\Include

I also installed the run time DLL for DirectX
7.0a.
Then, I did "make distclean" and I compiled
Allegro again:
-> vcvars32.bat
-> fixmsvc.bat
-> make
-> make install

No errors, no warnings. Then, I executed _every_
".exe" created by "make" and none worked (exept
the 2 GDI programs: dibgrab and dibhello since
they don't use "set_gfx_mode()").

Does anybody knows how to solve this problem ?

But did you know that Hotmail, which is run by
Microsoft, uses an Apache server that is running
under Unix !!! They are so stupid! The Microsoft
team really knows that they are producing crap...
Crapy web servers, Crapy OS, Crapy ....
