I have used the same book. The '.cpp' files in each chapter on the CD are source code for various examples given in the corresponding chapters in the actual book. There are also exercises for each chapter on the CD, but some of those contain typographical errors. If you follow the links to 'Teach Yourself C++ in 21 Days' that others have posted, you will find a more comprehensive introduction to C++ than in the '24 Hours' book.
