Can anyone tell me if they have had success in using
I.J.G.'s Jpeg6B compiled for DJGPP, and Allegro
Graphics to create a simple Jpeg viewer that works
from the command line?
I have been using one of the excellant sample programs
that Jpeb6B generates, DJPEG.exe to convert a
Jpeg to a bmp/tga, and then use Allegro to display
the bmp/tga....
this works, but would it not be REALLY NICE to not
have to consume the extra harddrive space for a file,
and just use the available RAM space to expand the
JPEG in a bitmap/video_area, and then just switch
to that video page.......right?
I welcome your comments, suggestions, and possible
source code examples which may be available somewhere...
