I think you are missinterpreting what global options are, they are global default,
they can be appplied globally also (to all button), but they doesn't affect already
opened files as a default behavior (Ok button).

The second does it while moving the cursor, not only when typing ([{}]), but this
uses some trick outside the main editor's class and RHIDE didn't implement it so it
doesn't work. Next release will have yet another option that will work without
external assistance.
