Ok, I downloaded 1.4.7.5. The problem is still the same with
options/environment/editor/editor options. But everything works fine when the
changes are made on the "local" menu obtained with Alt+L.

BTW: What's the difference between "match pair highlight" and "Match pair on
the fly"?
