Even though libnet has its own peculiar API and application protocol
(built on top of UDP and designed for netgames), it's designed along
the same lines (and by some of the same fellas) as the Allegro library
(does the job the same on all supported platforms).

I would definitely add wattcp and libsocket to the Zip Picker though.
