Is this C or C++ source code? What command did you use to compile?

This warning is sometimes issued if you use gpp or gxx to compile C
code because the C++ standard is stricter about such things.

If that is happening you can either fix the offending source or adjust
the command line. Post both if you need suggestions how to fix.
