Change to directory gnu/gcc-2.952/build.djg and try running build.bat.
Is it also failing (under NT of course) when LFN driver is active?

I specially split building gcc-2.95.x there is such hunks which at least
Win9X DPMI server can take, but I don't know about WinNT. Of 
course there may be also other problems
