here's a couple questions i have...

1. where would i find the standard c/c++ stuff that i hear frequently and
read in the opening comments of several header files?

2. where or how could i find out all the command line paramaters and
options for gxx, gcc, and gpp?

3. what exactly is gpp?

4. what does gxx do? i know it compiles programs (duh), but what steps
does it take? the info page says it calls gcc, but thats about all it
says.

5. Where could I get more info on the gnu project?

6. is there a utility for dos like linux's script, where it saves
everything shown on screen to a file?

Thanks to anyone who can answer these questions...
