Yes, there is. Just allocate a big enough block of memory by malloc() and then allocate its subparts by your own replacement for malloc(). In fact, most of game engines use such an approach (Doom, Quake,...). Just because it's faster and it's possible to put there data cache as well. Good Luck Alexei A.
