Allegro can be localized. Look into your allegro directory, there should be
these files: language.dat, keyboard.dat and allegro.cfg. Open the cfg
file with a text editor and find the language/keyboard sections. Set them
to french. Now, you can copy those three files into the directory of each
Allegro application to force it use your config values, or you can set an
environmet variable pointing at your global cfg file with the french
settings. However, you still need both language and keyboard dat files in
the program's directory you want the french settings to take effect.
