Hmm...I think that the news server that you use maybe to slow, because it
sounds like it is taking very long for the news to trickle through.

If you find that your news server sucks then you can join the mailing list
<djgpp AT delorie DOT com> or you can try news.delorie.com which is a read only
server however.
