Well most people specify the section where it can be found (like the FAQ
section 3.7). 

I know that some times the RTFM responses might be annoying to the
newbies, but since the DJGPP FAQ has the info in more detail wouldn't you
agree that it is correct to point the newbie in the direction of the FAQ,
rather than try to explain it ourselves.
