I guess "supported" in this case means supported by people in this
newsgroup. I don't think many people use gcc 2.7.2.1 anymore.

With regard to other packages, I have no idea. I am personally more
inclined to upgrade gcc quickly than, say, grep. In fact, it took me a
long time to notice that grep 2.2 had been ported.

Since DJ doesn't want them in the DJGPP archive, I guess the best we can
do is post a link to the old versions on the x2ftp site. Is this question
asked frequently enough to be in the FAQ? Where would be best for this
link?
