No, you don't.  What you do have is a switch that prevents SmartDrv
from delaying the COMMAND.COM prompt until it finishes to flush its
write-behind data.  But you cannot stop the flushing itself: SmartDrv
always does that when a program exits, it just writes the data in
parallel to whatever the machine does next.
