'image libraries' could mean two different things: either drawing
libraries (like OpenGL, Direct3D or X11 on SGI's), or image
manipulation and image file handling libraries (like the 'gd' lib that
writes GIF files). Please clarify what you're looking for.

Only remotely. DJGPP uses the same compiler, but the platform is so
vastly different that several things have to be done completely
differently, or may not be possible at all, compared a Unix box like
that SGI. DJGPP tries to emulate much of Unix, but some parts are just
impossible to implement, on DOS.
