What exactly is complicated about rebuilding with v2?

Are you sure you have the latest version of go32.exe?  What does go32.exe 
print when invoked with no arguments?

I just tried a program compiled with v1.x on Windows 95, and it works as 
advertised.  That's what I'd expect.

What version of Windows do you have, exactly?
