okay I've written a class that outputs strings to an SVGA screen using
different fonts and stuff, the functions are all working fine (i've done
some exaustive testing). BUT, when I try to run it using like this:

writer->DrawString( x,y, "string", colour );

it crashes on other computers (but not my own), yet when I use it like
this:

char *string;

writer->DrawString( x,y, string, colour );

it works fine... now can anybody tell me whats going on??
