Ah, a little confusion here. By "Debian 2.1 kernel" I mean the kernels
that come with Debian 2.1. They are in fact 2.0 kernels for the install,
IIRC. It was something to do with SCSI devices I think.

Denial of service attacks. Fork bombs for example. If you secure your box,
you can stop this though, so I suppose it's not a real issue.
