Hi,

I downloaded some *.zip files for DJGPP, extracted them with an old unzipper
and everything worked fine.
Then I discovered I had been using an unzip program that did not preserve
long file names. (the file include/sys/sysmacro.h instead of with ane xtra
s).

soi download winzip...extract everything again, and it still worked
fine..except for the info files. Some files whcih used to call
*.inf were now called *.info and that seemed to cause the problem (not being
able to do 'info libc' or something). I manually changed all the *.info to
*.inf and it was ok again.

I guess I do something wrong as I can't believe the distribution was
wrong...
could someone explain this ?
