Yes, but they become GPL at that point.  Actually, the binary they're
linked to becomes GPL, which requires that even the BSD sources be
made available.  The recipient can probably extract the BSD sources
and redistribute those under the original copyright, if they're
unchanged from the originals.  If they've been changed than multiple
copyrights may apply and you'd have to meet multiple distribution
terms.
