It seems I misunderstood you.  I thought you had a program compiled
with DJGPP which worked on MSDOS.  I thought you were asking how to
make it work on Windows.  AFAIK, programs which work on MSDOS don't
need anything special to continue working from Windows, even if the
program accesses the network, since DOS drivers can still work after
Windows starts.
