The FAQ doesn't address my question on gdb front ends, other than
mentioning RHIDE and FSDB.

The main problem was that it won't always accept a breakpoint when I
would expect a breakpoint to be valid.

My apologies, I looked at the last available version on simtel and
observed that it hadn't been updated in over two years. I've now
downloaded the beta and am trying it. It does seem to have fixed the
problems I observed with the earlier version. If I find problems, I'll
report them back to the author.
