Bjarne's book "The C++ programming language" is very indepth, and has worked very well as a reference book for me.

"The black art of 3D programming" (or what it's called) is good I guess, but if you want to go deeper into 3D programming (stuff like texturemapping etc) you could check out "Cutting edge 3D programming in C++" (not too sure about the title).
