No pb - just use (MS) Smartdrive instead of (DR) NWCache.

As for freeing conventional memory, it is a dream. DR-DOS lets
about 620KB (a bit less under multi) with CD, SmartDrv, mouse,
RAM-disk, and so on loaded. No need of memmaker or such tool...
Many drivers (NWCDEX, NWCache) are loaded outside the 1st MB via
a DPMS server (/= DPMI) that runs even on a PC AT 286!
