Rsxide does not have editing features,it is setup to work _with_
an external editor like textpad or ultraedit or others.
go into  the "ide" menu and then select "editor defaults"
and configure it for your favorite editor...

I have been trying to make it work for textpad but cant
seem to get it to work right as of yet.

Can you compile any of the examples with rsxide?
I can run the makefile and compile them fine but i cant
get rsxide to compile them and can find any info about
it...
