Please cite the *exact* error message, and also the exact command line you 
used to get it. If you get a message text like this:

	{some program name here}: Not COFF (check for viruses)

then *do* check for viruses, thoroughly. So far, each time we had
users report this type of problem, they either *did* have a virus, or
their virus scanner had gone berserk.
