hello,

i wanted to build a cross assembler for mips running on windows.
as specified in the readme.djg file, i
1) got the source code for binutils (binutils-2.8.1.tar.gz)
2) copied files configure.bat, diffs.djg to the main djgpp directory
3) configured the directory with following options
	configure --host=i586-pc-winnt --target=mips-mips-elf
4) ran 'make all-gas'

when i write a simple mips instruction and try these exe files,
gasp is doing fine. but, gas is giving one error

./as.exe: bfd assertion fail ecofflink.c:1599
./as.exe: bfd assertion fail ecofflink.c:1600
./as.exe: bfd assertion fail ecofflink.c:1601
./as.exe: bfd assertion fail ecofflink.c:1602
./as.exe: bfd assertion fail ecofflink.c:1604

i will be very happy if you can help me out.

thank you,

bandiv
