    I think it's to do with the micro$oft email program. I use Outlook
Express and I have just tried writing an email which includes comments, C++
style i.e. with two forward slashes. OE immediately kicks in thinking that
this must be a link and therefore prepends 'file:' to the comment.Let's try:
file://hello program
What I really typed was two forward slashes followed by 'hello program' but
OE added 'file:' at the beginning.
