The clipboard support in the DJGPP version of Emacs is in the file
w16select.c; I had something to do with that ;-).

There are Windows interrupts to include ``close-awareness'' in a
program.  I don't remember the details, but look in Ralf Brown's
Interrupt List, they are there.
