When I complile hello.cpp I get the hello.exe program but I also get :
Bad command or file name
no errors

So at Eli's suggestion I added -v to the compilation switches that RHIDE

passes to the compiler.

I got :
Reading specs from
c:/djgpp/lib/specs
gcc version 2.95.1 19990816
(release) _
 c:/djgpp/bin/ld.exe -o hello.exe c:/djgpp/lib/crt0.o -Lc:/djgpp/lib
-Lc:/djg_
 c:/djgpp/bin/stubify.exe -v
hello.exe _

theres nothing about bad commands or file names.
Also at Eli suggestion I input
gcc -v -o helloa.exe hello.cpp
and got alot of text, no mention of bad commands or file names. that I
can see.

I would jcopy the contents of the dos box but I don't know how- theres
so much text it doesnt fit into a window and won't scroll. How do I copy
the entire contents of the dos box into the clipboard ?
