I think you are judging from a very short period.  Try to search the 
DJGPP archives to get a long-term perspective.

I also think that to explain this issue in a truely objective way
takes more than a few words, otherwise you risk to look as if you
are selling something.

Of course, eventually it is up to you what to put into the short FAQ.
If you feel this question belongs there, go ahead and addit.
