Dear Group
I know about the problem with LFN on NT4 so I won't bore you with that
one again. However, there is another problem I experience with NT 4.0
which does not occur on win95/98 or (surprisingly) on Win2000. If I
create a batch file along the lines of:
REM DJ.BAT
set PATH=c:\djgpp\bin;%PATH%
SET djgpp=C:\DJGPP\DJGPP.ENV
RHIDE
in order to jump straight into rhide from a shortcut on the desktop, it
doesn't work on NT4. Going line by line from the command prompt, I
discover that I usually need to type rhide twice. The first invocation
crashes right back to the prompt, and the second one gets me in. This
is consistent and confusing behaviour. Does anyone have any ideas?
Bob.
