Here's where you lose me. That's where I got lost in the faq too.

from the faq :

            1) Use the stand-alone Info reader.
Get the file txiXXXbn.zip, which includes INFO.EXE, and
txiXXXdc.zip, which includes docs for INFO.EXE. Unzip them
and run "info". It will bring up a (hopefully)
self-explanatory online help system. Confused? Press
``?'' to see the list of all Info commands. Still
confused? Press ``h'' to have Info take you on a guided
               tour through its commands.

I'm running windows 98

I have \txi312b\bin\info.exe along tith the other files in txi312b.

When I hit info.exe I get a big black box with a tool bar titled "MSDOS
Finished-info".
There is a scroll down menu which says "auto"
and in the black area it says "info:dir: nosuch file or directory (ENOENT)"
It won't allw me to type anything in and if I press "?" it says the program
is terminated.

I guess this is some kind of error message from an ms-dos program, but I have
no idea what its trying to tell me.

Can anyone help me get this info program running ?
