Everyone:

I did some more digging on http://thomas.loc.gov/bss/d106query.html
and came up with H.R.602 and S.602 for the current (106th) congress
(info follows).  Neither is related to e-mail or the Postal
Service.  Same results for the 105th and 104th congress.


Searching Yahoo! People in Vienna, VA, for Kate Turner and Richard
Stepp yielded nothing.  Searching Yahoo! Yellow Pages under Law
Firms in Vienna, VA, for Berger, Stepp and Gorman and for Stepp
yielded nothing.

SUMMARY:
(AS INTRODUCED)


Civil Service Long-Term Care Insurance Benefit Act - Directs the
Office of Personnel Management (OPM) to establish and administer a
program through which Federal employees and annuitants may obtain
group long-term care insurance for themselves, a spouse, or, to the
extent permitted under the insurance contract terms, any other
eligible relative.

Directs OPM to: (1) annually identify and list participating
insurance carriers; (2) provide carrier application requirements;
(3) publish in the Federal Register appropriate information
concerning such carriers and the availability of such insurance to
eligible individuals; (4) arrange to have covered individuals
receive a benefit certificate; and (5) undertake certain
administrative functions with respect to employee or annuitant
insurance enrollment and pay or annuity withholdings to cover the
cost of such insurance.

Stealth Tax Prevention Act - Amends Federal law relating to
congressional review of agency rulemaking to include in the
definition of "major rule" any rule that is promulgated by the
Internal Revenue Service and whose implementation and enforcement
the Administrator of the Office of Information and Regulatory
Affairs of the Office of Management and Budget finds has resulted
in (or is likely to result in) any net increase in Federal
revenues.
