Any suggestion on how to change it?

C:\djgpp\ didn't even exist until I just installed DJGPP... so I don't see
how it could be from before 2.95, unless one of those zip files had it (I
used that zip picker thing...) and I didn't touch the file... (I renamed it
and tried again, again, nothing happens excpet it gets the specs from
C:/djgpp/lib/gcc-lib/djgpp/2.95/)

I didn't change anything... the only thing the readme file said to change
was LFN=y, but I didn't have to because it was already that way in djgpp.env

I'm using win98 if that helps at all?
