RHIDE uses filenames as a way to determine if two files are or aren't the same.
This approach is really weak and should be fixed.
A long time ago I switched to use device+inode for it following a suggestion
from Eli.
So adding it to RHIDE isn't a big work, specially because all the editor objects
holds the device and inode numbers of the file they contain.

I need more information, do you have any of the files the editor uses to capture
errors?
How much memory do you have in this machine? It could be some problem related to
the RMCB used for the mouse under low memory conditions.
