I am using gcc2.951 and the latest alpha (posted on simtel.net) of DJDEV203.
I cannot get any executable to work with allegro. All the programs crash
with either an 'Invalid Opcode' or 'General Protection Fault'. The
tracebacks given are around 0x00000003 and 0x007b101. Symify reveals them
to be 0x3 and ___crt1_startup+145. I had allegro working when I compiled it
with gcc2.81 but now it won't work. I deleted the older compiled version
(allegro v3.11 compiled w/ gcc2.81) to update it to the allegro 3.12 but the
resulting exe files crash. I even tried to compile the 3.11 version but it
does the same thing. I have made a sort of Allegro lite that only has the
sound modules (and related portions) and it works fine, so there must be
some portion (ie., in the GFX modules) that cause unstable exe's.
