Yes it is possible. But icons are Windows features, not supported by DOS. DJGPP is a DOS complier. Learn Win-programming! There are many good books (make sure they descripe Win32 API). If you are programming in C I recomend lcc-Win32 as your complier. You find a Link in the DJGPP FAQ. With lcc-Win32 you get: 1. The complier 2. A very, very good IDE. 3. Documetation (including a complete desciption over Win32 API). 4. A icon maker (can make cursors too) 5. And much more. Don't try to learn Win-programming with the helpfile over Win32 API that comes with lcc. You will need to know what you are looking for. (and a beginner don't, trust me) Randy G <umgrang0 AT cc DOT umanitoba DOT ca> skrev i diskussionsgruppsmeddelandet:37CBB744 DOT BF04C602 AT cc DOT umanitoba DOT ca... > > Damian Yerrick wrote: > > > > Randy G <umgrang0 AT cc DOT umanitoba DOT ca> wrote in message > > news:37CA614E DOT 663B7A5D AT cc DOT umanitoba DOT ca... > > > > > > Everything I make using djgpp has that small blue > > > application window icon. > > > > This is the default icon for a program that doesn't > > contain an icon list. > > Can I make an "icon list" and put it in the executable is what I'm > interested in. > Is it possible to embed an icon (or a small library of them) in the exe? >
