Hello and good day,

Since 9 days I have my first Linux router running and
now I can work with 3 workstations paralel.

On one Workstation I have my DR-Dos 7.03 with Network and
the full blown DJGPP development environement.

Development for plain DOS no Windoof or anything else.

I have compiled several programs without any problems !!!
I do not know, what I have done, because to many people have
problems to install them. At me it is working fine and fast.

OK, I am programming in C only.

Now I have some questions.

I have downloaded some TCP/IP networking tools
but I get no network connections

Curently I am using the 'The Standard Function Library' from IMATIX,
Possible you know the power Web server XiTami.

I do not find any right Books in german language and the english books
I know are verry complicate.

I like to programm SERVER APPLICATIONS (router, http, ftp, pop3, smtp,
ntp, nntp, irc,...)

I like to programm for the first time a simpel NTP application.
This is the "Network Time Protocol".
It use the PC system clock, which is synchronized with a DCF-77 receiver.

I get no socket or anything else.

Does anyone have a library for a server socket
or is experienced in TCP programming ???

Does anyone know good books in Dos TCP/IP programming
and where can I find them ???

In Germany and France I get nothing !!!

Thanks for your help

Webmisterss Michelle

P.S.: I have tried to use Libs from the Linux source
disk which are working from time to time.

There are libs which can be ported to DOE very easy.
