That's not a problem, it's an inherent limitation of network drives,
to some extent. Networks drives will be used by several machines, at
the same time, so you simply cannot know if contents you cached a
second ago are still valid, unless you lock every bit of data being
cached by one machine for write access by every other one. If at all,
caching of such drives can only done in the networked filesystem
driver, by cooperation with the fileserver. A machine-local drive
cache cannot possibly do it.
