Currently this is the Allegro Work In Progress. It is currently at 3.9.22. Allegro 4 will
be the first version of the library to support multiple platforms. ATM the WIP supports:

-DJGPP (works perfectly)
-Watcom (haven't tested it)
-MSVC (not sure)
-Mingw32 (works perfectly)
-RSXNTDJ (don't use this, it doesn't work yet, though the code is written)
-BeOS (major changes going on here)
-Linux (and here)

The Windows versions all use DirectX.
