Although this is a good possability, it means that if any program that knows
long filenames exist tries to link it stdcxx, that will fail. The solution
for RHIDE is in the FAQ, and I find it quickly by doing a word search for
"-lstdcx".

One solution someone proposed was to copy the file with the other name. This
way both names are valid and all programs will be happy.
