No.  DJGPP makes calls to Win9x to get long filename information, if Win9x
isn't running, there's no easy way to get the information.  Of course, it
is possible to write your own disk reading routines that would get the
long-filename information even in DOS (Norton Utilities does it), but
that's no trivial task.
