I will be starting work on one shortly. Initially, it will be a BASIC to C
converter because I don't know much about things like optimizing, etc.....

By the way, RHIDE is already set up to do the coloring for .bas files. I'm
not sure what version of Basic it is though. It may be the ansi standard for
minimum basic.

Also, there is a FREE basic compiler for Win95 called XBasic.
