hi all,

i'm putting a simple little library of graphics functions like mode
setting, blitting, etc. for use in a tile-based game and i'm looking for
the fastest possible routines. i'm currently using allegro, but i want
something simpler. can anyone recommend the fastest available routines
for blit() and putpixel() kind of functions? preferably in Mode X, also.
